What counts as a Thread build?

A Thread build is when you ask Pond to construct a Thread for you — either from a natural language prompt or by materialising a discovered Thread. Builds are a membership feature. Manually creating an empty Thread and populating it yourself is free forever on every plan. See also: Threads.

What is Thread discovery?

Once your library reaches a sufficient size, Pond proactively identifies Threads running through your collections and surfaces them as suggestions. Discovery is a membership feature, running weekly and on demand. See also: Pond Intelligence.

What are Fragment suggestions?

When you open an Artefact and ask Pond to suggest passages, it reads the whole document and proposes Fragments worth marking — those that connect to your Threads, and others worth holding onto beyond them. That reading is Pond’s labour, so it’s a membership feature. Marking passages yourself — selecting text by hand, or importing highlights you’ve already made — is free forever on every plan. See also: Fragments.
